Long Term Conditions

We hold specialist clinics for these chronic diseases where you will see a highly trained practice nurse or nurse practitioner.

Asthma

Our practice nurses have specialist asthma qualifications. They run clinics in order that asthma may be assessed, advice offered, queries answered and the correct treatment ensured. Patients on asthma medication should be seen at least once a year in the asthma clinic for a check up with the nurse.

If you have been advised by the surgery to submit an annual review of your asthma symptoms, please complete our online Asthma Review Form.

Keeping Healthy

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening

Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) screening is a way of detecting a dangerous swelling (aneurysm) of the aorta, the main blood vessel that runs from the heart, down through the abdomen to the rest of the body.

Cervical Smear Tests
